Elijah Taylor
Co-Founder | Go-to-Market & Strategic Partnerships
Elijah Taylor works with founders, executives, institutions, and international professionals to bring solutions to market, build strategic partnerships, and translate complex environments into clear, executable outcomes across digital advertising, AI, innovation, aerospace, energy, education, and emerging industries.
He launched Black Star Syndicate with a simple conviction: regulated and frontier markets reward those who move with both clarity and responsibility. Through Black Star, Elijah leads go-to-market strategy, fractional C-suite advisory, and partnership development for clients operating in frontier and diverse sectors. He is also the creator of the Don’t Crash Course, a compliance-focused educational program delivered to AI companies, law firms, and businesses, designed to help organizations avoid structural and regulatory missteps by partnering with properly licensed professionals.
Beyond Black Star, Elijah serves as a Business Development Partner at The Bennett Group as well as a Business Development Manager at The Bishop Consulting Group, which former U.S. Congressman Rob Bishop established, and as the first VP of the Business Owners and Founders Club at Edison House, a private membership community in Salt Lake City powered by Sonato, an international private club network. He is an Advisory Board Member at Neumont University, which offers a Northwest-accredited Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence, and a Utah Board Advisor for Terrace Metrics/ResiliencyForYou, resilience platforms serving over 5 million individuals globally including students, first responders, police departments, and veterans.
His work increasingly extends across international markets. In 2026, he helped design and organize the Utah leg of a Kazakhstan business and civic delegation visit, building a week-long program of engagements across Utah’s technology, aerospace, energy, and institutional ecosystem. He is currently working alongside Washington Insight Group and The Bennett Group on cross-border business development between North Africa and Utah, focused on trade and strategic partnerships.
In digital advertising, Elijah previously led Internet for Growth’s business and strategic partnerships in Utah. Internet for Growth is the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) coalition bringing small business and creator perspectives into federal policy alongside IAB’s 700+ member companies, including Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix, Disney, and NBCUniversal. He recruited Utah business leaders into the coalition, hosted a Utah convening, and represented the coalition in a televised segment, while The Bishop Consulting Group, the licensed government affairs firm, led the federal congressional engagement. The work gave Main Street a seat at the same federal policy table as the largest platforms.
His exposure to federal systems and frontier industries traces back to formative experiences. He interned in the office of U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch, an early introduction to how policy actually moves. His interest in space came earlier, through his grandfather, Dr. Calvin Walker Taylor, a University of Utah psychologist who spent his career studying human creativity and talent, and who retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after serving in the U.S. Army. His grandfather’s NASA research analyzed biographical data from over 2,000 scientists to identify what actually predicted creative performance: professional self-confidence, independence, and the willingness to hold a position under pressure. That work shaped how the agency thought about talent for a generation. Growing up in that lineage planted something early.

For Elijah, leadership comes down to one belief: hope, coupled with action, forges lasting impact. Black Star is his way of helping the ventures that carry that hope take flight.
