Zoe Tiede
Partners & Industry Relations Coordinator
Zoe Tiede serves in Partners & Industry Relations at Black Star, supporting strategic outreach coordination, CRM management, event logistics, and member communications across key Black Star initiatives. She brings a systems oriented approach to partnership operations, treating every relationship and touchpoint as part of a larger workflow worth designing well.
Zoe holds a B.S. in Human Factors Psychology, with minors in Aerospace Life Sciences and Space Operations, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. She is currently pursuing an M.S. in Systems Engineering through the University of Arizona. Her academic background centers on human-centered design, UI/UX prototyping, and defense and space system evaluations, giving her a distinct lens on how people, tools, and processes interact under real operational demands.
At Black Star, Zoe applies that background to the day to day work of building relationships across the partner and industry ecosystem, bringing structure and workflow discipline to outreach, coordination, and member facing communications so that the organization’s growing network of partners and initiatives runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Outside of work, Zoe can usually be found outdoors. She spends her time water skiing and boat days on the lake, camping in the mountains, playing volleyball, off-roading, and hiking, when she is not watching new movies or spending time with family, friends, and pets.
